Film & Television Production

As Chicagoland’s premier production caterer, we rock from the word go to the last thank you, and put a lot of heart and know-how in the middle. Honest Foods takes the preparation and catering of your shoot as seriously as we take our onboard music, which is why we bolted a boom box to the dashboard of our step-van, a little volume never hurt anyone. We’ll work within your requirements to produce not only the right meal for your crew, but the right result. Special considerations and oddball circumstances are welcome here.

Production Ordering

Please allow a minimum of 72 hours for all orders. We require a guaranteed minimum head count 48 hours prior to the order. That number may be increased for a minimum 10% fee or actual costs incurred, but not decreased. A credit card is required to reserve all bookings, payment is due 7 days from event date. Cancellation within 48 hours of event will result in a charge of 50% of the final bill. Cancellation within 24 hours will result in a charge of 100% of the final bill.


All orders require a 15 person minimum.

Breakfast menu: $12.50 / person
Lunch menu: $20.00 / person
Budget Lunch menu (one entree only): $16.00/ person
Super-Budget Lunch menu: $14.00/ person
Box Lunch: $10.00 or $12.00 / each
Gluten-Free, Vegan, Custom Lunch: $25.00 / person
Paper Goods: $1.00 / person / per meal (includes disposable plates, bowls, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, serving utensils, table cover, chafing dishes and sterno fuel)
Reusables: $4.00 / person / per meal (includes reusable plates, bowls, forks, knives, spoons)

Additional Charges

Mileage Fee (after 20 miles roundtrip): $1.00 /mile
Early Call premium (leaving port 5-5:30am): $50.00/ additional fee
Late Call Premium (leaving port 5-8:30pm): $100.00/ additional fee
Night Shoot (leaving port 9pm-4:30am): $250.00 / additional fee
Saturday Premium Fee: $25.00 / additional flat rate per meal
Sunday Premium Fee: $50.00 / additional flat rate per meal
Equipment Pick-up Fee: $25.00 / pick-up


Includes 20 miles round-trip and 90 minutes port-to-port. Set-up on disposable serve ware.

Delivery / Set-Up Fee: $50.00 / delivery
Mileage Fee (after 20 roundtrip miles): $1.00 /mile

Optional Meal Service

Includes real chafers and serve ware, set-up, meal service, and clean-up.

Labor: $50/hr per server
Saturday Serves: $75.00 /hr per server
Sunday Serves: $100.00 /hr per server


Iced Tea, Lemonade and Water: $1.00 per person
Tables: $10.00/ per table per day
Chairs: $1.00 / per chair per day
