Tad Devlin
Our passion for feeding togetherness began in 1997 when Tad Devlin catered his sister’s wedding as a special gift to the newlyweds. The wedding was a huge success with guests raving about the food…and the beautiful bride. The event encouraged Tad to pursue his dream of bringing people together around food by launching Honest Foods Catering as an off-premise caterer specializing in weddings, private parties, corporate functions, and film/TV commercial shoots. Tad leveraged his previous dining industry experience and degree in restaurant management from the University of Illinois to start Honest Foods out of a tiny apartment kitchen. He is now the owner/operator and head chef.

Jennifer Byrd
The third member of this catering management trio is Jennifer Byrd. Jennifer joined the company as office and sales manager where she’s been responsible for managing daily operations, handling client relations/correspondence, and overseeing event planning and more. Prior to joining Honest Foods, Jennifer, a graduate of Illinois State University, spent 20-years in the hospitality industry including 17-years in area catering at the United Center.
